Acknowledged
This status is granted by the Prince (or Seneschal) of a given domain and is only good in that domain.
Presentation and the Letter of Introduction.
Part of observing the Tradition of Hospitality is making your presence known to the
ruling Kindred and requesting permission to stay. This is typically done by obtaining a
Letter of Introduction from ones Sire, a Harpy or Seneschal of another domain you’ve
recently resided in. Such a letter explains to the reader that you honor Camarilla Tradition
and have been properly released into Camarilla society by your Sire. Older kindred, or
Kindred with significant Status may choose to simply present themselves without a letter,
though this may be difficult if the ruling Prince has never heard of you or has no way to
verify your status.
If a kindred does not possess any status, it is expected that they first seek their Primogen (or the Seneschal or Harpy if they do not have one), and request an introduction to the Prince. At that time, a Prince will usually grant you ‘recognition’ which is a sort of temporary acknowledgment, until you can be formally presented before him and to the populous.
